Counselling Resource and Education Workshops (C.R.E.W.)

This program is the next step in your counselling journey after you have completed an intake. The intention of these workshops is to offer you support, education, and awareness; all of which will prepare you for your time with your counsellor.

Eligible Participants

Workshop Dates

The Counselling Resource Education Workshop is a rotating series of 12 topics. They are:
  1. What is Counselling?
  2. Emotions and Needs Awareness
  3. Understanding Grief and Loss
  4. The Importance of Goal Setting
  5. Mindfulness
  6. The Window of Tolerance
  7. Healthy Boundaries
  8. Healing and the Impacts of Trauma and Abuse
  9. The Courage to Change
  10. Internal Resources and Resiliency
  11. External and Community Resources
  12. Next Steps
