Volunteer for Angel Tree

The Lethbridge Family Services Angel Tree Christmas Campaign is a legacy we have built together; a shared community experience. Angel Tree helps any family in Lethbridge and area who need a little assistance at Christmas. 
 
We invite you to help us spread holiday joy and create happy memories for our Angel Tree families and the 3,600+ children we expect to serve every year. We invite you into our Christmas tradition be becoming a volunteer!

All volunteers please report to Angel Tree Toy Depot: 108–920 2A Ave North, across the parking lot from Service Canada.

Volunteer Positions Available

  • Gift Bundling in the Toy Depot
  • Drivers: Gift Bundle Delivery to Families
  • Charity Checkstop (sorting/counting gifts)
  • Toy Pickup Drivers
  • Treat Yo Elf Christmas Market
  • Teddy Bear Toss

General Information

  • Anyone receiving Angel Tree, Salvation Army, or Shop of Wonders gifts is not permitted to volunteer.
  • There is a limit of two gift bundling shifts per volunteer.
  • We welcome many different levels of ability, but you must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. If you require assistance with gift bundling tasks, please arrive accompanied by someone who can support you.
  • Volunteers must be 18 years or older unless accompanied by an adult.
  • A parent may accompany someone younger when permission is granted to angeltreeinfo@LFSfamily.ca.
  • Each volunteer must complete a confidentiality agreement.
  • There are no limits on signing up for driver shifts.
  • All volunteer drivers must have a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance.

Working with Our Community
