Therapeutic group counselling unites clients who identify as having experienced similar feelings, struggles, or situations. Group counselling is facilitated by two trained counsellors who promote the exploration of this shared experience while respecting the diversity of the group members. Within this supportive environment clients are able to learn about themselves through their own personal process and by collaborating with others.
Group counselling can support you:
-
Build a stronger understanding of how a particular experience can be perceived differently or similarly by individuals
-
Enable distinct modes of interaction, expression, and self-exploration that can improve one’s wellbeing
-
To be involved in shared discussions that can lead to feelings of validation, understanding, and the development of new perspectives
-
In ceating a powerful support network that can enhance communication and social skills
Times, dates and length of counselling group varies for each group.
