Help for Resettled Refugees
We are one of 38 Resettlement Assistance Program service provider organizations in Canada. This is a 6-week program to assist newly arrived Government-Assisted Refugees (GARs) with their resettlement process destined to arrive in Lethbridge.
Program activities can include:
- Meet newcomers at the airport 
- Provide temporary accommodation and later assist in finding permanent accommodation 
- Provide basic orientation to life in Canada 
- Introduction to a new community 
- Review the rights and obligations of financial assistance 
- Links to government programs and community services
