Lethbridge Family Services acknowledges the traditional lands and territories of the Niitsitapi, translated to The Real People (Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Piikani, and the Siksika), who have lived on these lands and taken care of them since time immemorial. We appreciate the rich cultural heritage and ancestral legacy of the Niitsitapi as land keepers and storytellers.

We recognize and give respect to the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations, and we are honoured to operate here.

Lethbridge Family Services is honoured to receive the Blackfoot name Sooksipaitapiisinni (Sooog see badabee sin knee), which means "Living a good life," a gift that reminds us of our shared responsibility to walk with respect, humility, and care on this land.
