Our Girls Group program supports local girls to develop confidence and a positive sense of identity. It’s open to any girls aged 10–18, and helps prepare them to be active members of their communities by:
Building confidence, making friends, and learning new skills.
Cultivating a safe space to grow, lead, and succeed alongside their peers.
Discovering their talents and becoming leaders.
In spaces where they feel safe, nurtured, and mentored, our free program for girls runs every Friday afternoon at the LFS main office.
May Girl’s Group Schedule
May 1, 1:30–3:30 pm
Downtown Art Walk and ice cream at Cookie Crimes. Please meet at the LFS main office (1107 2A Avenue North, Lethbridge).
May 8, 1:00–4:30 pm
Coulee Clean-up with Youth Mentorship Program. Lunch provided. Please meet at the LFS main office (1107 2A Avenue North, Lethbridge) by 1:00 pm, then we will go to the coulees.
May 15: No program
May 22, 2:15–3:15 pm
Women's Only Swim at Stan Siwik Pool. Meet at the pool (1901 15th Avenue North, Lethbridge).
May 29, 1:30–4:00 pm
Journaling at the Japanese Gardens! Meet at the LFS main office (1107 2A Avenue North, Lethbridge), and we will take a bus to the gardens.
