Community Connection Program
Important Update: Community Connection Program
As of March 31, 2026, the Community Connection Program will conclude due to funding cuts. We know this program has been an important source of support for many newcomers to build friendships, create a sense of belonging, and feel at home in the community.
If you have been a client of this program, we hope the connections you’ve built and the experiences you’ve gained will continue. To support you moving forward, we’ve created a set of practical tools and resources to help you stay connected and continue navigating life in Lethbridge, including finding community groups and local activities, practicing English in informal settings, staying socially connected and engaged, and accessing community services and supports.
You can find these resources below. We encourage you to use them and continue building your network and sense of belonging.
If you are currently matched with a mentor or involved in program activities, we encourage you to connect with your coordinator as soon as possible to discuss next steps. Thank you for being part of the Community Connection Program—we wish you continued success and meaningful connections in your journey ahead.
