Program Description

Cross Disability Support Services connects individuals with complex needs and “invisible” disabilities to existing community resources with the purpose of engaging individuals in community life. This community based approach includes coordination, support, community capacity building, advocacy and education. This project was initiated in response to the needs of individuals that are currently “falling through the cracks” and would benefit from support

Am I eligible?

Individuals must : ** A formal diagnosis of a disability is NOT a requirement of this service

Where is the service provided?

Services are community based. Geographical boundaries are defined as west of Taber to the B.C. border and from Vulcan south to the U.S. border

How much will it cost?

There is no direct cost to individuals being served

How do I access this program?

Individuals are referred to services by community agencies, self, family members or other services
