Angel Tree Christmas Campaign – calling all angels
“For some moments in life - there are no words.”
- David Seltzer
Lethbridge – November 15, 2017, marks a milestone for the Lethbridge Family Services Angel Tree Christmas Campaign. It is our 25th Anniversary and we are celebrating our launch with 300 students and teachers at St. Teresa of Calcutta Elementary School at 9:45 am. Hosted by our energetic wing/halo-clad April Truman and Chad Benson from B-93 alongside colleague Gillian Macleod from Country 95; this year will feature a special gift from our longtime, valued sponsor, 1st Choice Savings, who has supported and volunteered with Angel Tree for 15 years.
This huge community undertaking truly embodies the spirit of generosity and kindness of Lethbridge. Last year, together with hundreds of volunteers, 75 businesses and organizations and 57 referral agencies, we all helped 2,127 children in need have a Christmas to smile about. Our goal is to show every child and teen 0 – 18 years old that yes, this community is filled with people who care about their hopes and dreams….and future success.
Gifts and donations will be collected until December 20, 2017, sorted, wrapped and delivered to the homes of children whose Christmas morning is bound to be bright. 1st Choice Savings, our 14-year Angel Tree partner, will be accepting new toys and cash donations at their branches again this year as follows:
1320 3rd Ave S
45 Fairmount Blvd. S.
332 University Dr. W

Every time I see a paper angel on a gift I think, that is a child’s wish; and we came together as a community to fill that wish. It’s magical.”
