Announcing Winners of upcoming 8th Annual Immigrant Achievement Awards

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

Being hosted by Lethbridge Family Services, the 8th annual Immigrant Achievement Awards will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at the Enmax Centre, Canadian Western Bank Lounge, to a sold-out crowd. 
 
These awards celebrate the outstanding achievements made by immigrants, community leaders and organizations who are making significant contributions to Lethbridge and its community. Each winners' story shares a common thread: sharing their unique abilities and actions to make Lethbridge and Canada a better place for all - while enabling the full potential in others.

The following Immigrant Achievement Award winners will be recognized on October 17, 2017:
  1. Youth Achievement, sponsored by RBC – Douhouk Dabbas
  2. Leadership Award, sponsored by RBC – Peter Imhof, Executive Director, Family Centre
  3. Art, Culture, and Recreation – Lethbridge College Students’ Association – Bhutanese Seniors Garden Project
  4. Organizational Diversity – Lethbridge Toyota
  5. Newcomer of Promise – Abdullah (Abed) Mouslli
  6. Special Announcement of a Canada 150 Award
