Volunteers Needed - Sign Up Today
At Lethbridge Family Services (LFS), we depend on volunteers to enhance our services to newcomers. With your help, newcomers can take steps to successfully adapt and integrate into Canadian society. Volunteering is also a great way for you to gain experience, network, and gain a reference for future job applications.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (CVVP)
Everyone appreciates some friendly support, especially when moving to a new country. The CCVP introduces newcomers to local volunteers and many exciting opportunities.
Volunteers familiar with Lethbridge help newcomers learn about community resources and how to use them, practice English language skills, and feel more comfortable participating in local events and activities. At the same time, volunteers learn about new cultures, other lands, and different languages, they make new friends and they strengthen community life.
