Helping Build Strong Families and Communities Heats Up
Did you ever think that buying a fireplace or garage heater could improve the lives of families in Southern Alberta? It isn’t just a thought, it is reality! Lethbridge Family Services have created an innovative partnership with Charlton & Hill who will be hosting their annual fall promotion from 10am-4pm on Saturday September 19th. This promotion is unique because a portion of the day’s sales proceeds will be donated to Lethbridge Family Services. In addition, LFS will be on-site for a charity bbq where people can enjoy some bbq beef on a bun, cinnamon buns, and other goodies that have been donated by local businesses to build stronger families and communities. This innovative partnership ensures that people can purchase a new furnace, fireplace, or even an air conditioner to meet their needs while also helping support families in Southern Alberta.
“We are so excited to be part of this annual event at Charlton & Hill this year and would like to encourage people to stop by. This is a great example of a locally owned business caring about their community and developing a new and innovative way of supporting families in Southern Alberta.” Says Melody Garner, Director Advancement and Community Relations
“At Charlton & Hill, we understand the importance of building strong families and that strong families build better communities. We thought this was a creative way in which we could support those goals through donating a portion of the sales proceeds and help Lethbridge Family Services continue to deliver the essential social services to Southern Alberta.”-Karen Reid, Charlton & Hill.
