Building the Family
What would you do if a member of your family suffered from a brain injury or had experienced a traumatic event that they needed help coping with? If you are in Southern Alberta, you contact Lethbridge Family Services and one of their team members helps. Lethbridge Family Services is also excited to announce another member of the community is stepping up to help Southern Albertans get the support they need to improve their well-being and quality of life. Scotiabank Southside in Lethbridge has partnered with LFS to help raise money for the agencies programs which helps over 5,500 people every year in Southern Alberta.
The two organizations are hosting a raffle fundraiser for a trip for four to Disneyland at a value of $3,800. The trip is in the form of a gift certificate that can be used for a trip for four (2 adults and 2 kids) to Disneyland including 5 days, flights, accommodations, and return transfers. It can also be used for any trip up to the value of $3,800 that is booked through Marlin Travel in Park Place Mall. Raffle Tickets go on sale at Scotiabank South on June 10th through September 17th and are also available at Marlin Travel in Park Place Mall, and Lethbridge Family Services. Tickets are only $5.00 and there are 2,000 tickets in total printed. The draw will be at the September 18, 2014 “Extending the Family” Event hosted by Lethbridge Family Services. Scotiabank will be matching the money raised up to an additional $5,000 through the Scotiabank Bright Future Program.
“We are so excited that Jill and her team at Scotiabank South have partnered with us on this raffle. We wanted to do a raffle that is family themed because that is the focus of our charitable agency; improving the quality of life and well-being of families in Southern Alberta. The crew at Scotiabank South really understands the importance of building a strong family and have committed to helping us sell these raffle tickets and raise money for our programs, which we are very grateful for “-Melody Garner, Development Director.
