Suicide Intervention Training
Suicide Intervention Training (SIT) provided by Lethbridge Family Services, an accredited agency through the Council of Accrediation (COA), is a 2 day workshop designed to support professionals, volunteers and community group members (gatekeepers) who work with potentially at-risk populations. Two day trainings and one day refresher trainings are facilitated by the Outreach and Education team.
Trainings run multiple times a year, please contact for future dates.
Participants receive a certificate upon completion of the training. Certification expires 3 years after date of issue. The certification sequence would look like this:
SIT Refresher (before 3 year expiry)
SIT 2-day (before 3 year expiry)
