Conversation Circles for Newcomer Men & Women

Program Description

Women’s and Men’s conversation circles provide an opportunity for newcomers, within three years of landing in Canada, to come together on a weekly basis for gender specific support and to chat, to connect with others in similar situations and to alleviate loneliness and isolation while arriving at solutions to apply to everyday living in Canada.

Am I eligible?

Permanent residents or live in caregivers who have lived in Canada for 3 years or less

Where is the service provided?

All services can be accessed at the Immigrant Services office at 1107 – 2 Ave. A North, Lethbridge. Some program activities may take place at other facilities/partner organizations.

How much will it cost?

All eligible newcomers are welcome to access this free service funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada
