The GIFT Program (Group of Immigrants with Foreign Training) provides support to immigrants with foreign-earned educational credentials and empowers the group to seek better, more meaningful and sustained, opportunities in the work place.
Am I eligible?
- Permanent residents or live in caregivers who have lived in Canada for 3 years or less
- Possess foreign credentials
- Have a university or college degree
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to share personal and employment related experiences with others
Where is the service provided?
All services can be accessed at our office located at 1107 – 2 Ave. A North Lethbridge. Some program activities may take place at other facilities/partner organizations.
Monthly meetings are held at the LFS-IS offices on the last Wednesday of every month from 6-8pm.
How much will it cost?
All eligible newcomers are welcome to access this free service funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada
