Program Description

The GIFT Program (Group of Immigrants with Foreign Training) provides support to immigrants with foreign-earned educational credentials and empowers the group to seek better, more meaningful and sustained, opportunities in the work place.

Where is the service provided?

All services can be accessed at  our office located at 1107 – 2 Ave. A North Lethbridge. Some program activities may take place at other facilities/partner organizations. 
Monthly meetings are held at the LFS-IS offices on the last Wednesday of every month from 6-8pm.

How much will it cost?

All eligible newcomers are welcome to access this free service funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada

Program Outcomes

Monthly activities include: networking opportunities; presentations from community guest speakers and subject area experts; information from other immigrants who have successfully integrated into the workplace and much more!!
