Fall programming for: Reaching Independence through Skills and Employment (RISE)

Lethbridge Family Services and its DaCapo Disability Services Department is pleased to launch their new Reaching Independence through Skills and Employment (RISE) program. RISE is a 10-month employment skills-centered certificate program for adults with developmental disabilities. Training is separated into two different methods of learning and will include both in-class sessions and work experience practicums, using a theoretical and practical learning approach.
 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older, on or before, the program start date
  • Diagnosed with a developmental disability
  • Ready, willing, and able to work. Capable of using public transit
